Ayubowan! I’m Hiran, the founder of Chauffeur Sri Lanka. I was born in the historic Anuradhapura region and today I live in Negombo with my wife and our two children. Negombo, one of Sri Lanka’s most vibrant coastal cities, is located just 37 km north of Colombo and only 7 km from Bandaranaike International Airport, making it the perfect base for welcoming travelers.
I have worked in the tourism and hospitality industry for more than two decades, both in Sri Lanka and overseas. During this time, I gained valuable experience with world‑renowned hotel brands including the InterContinental Group, Taj Group, Sofitel (Accor), and Banyan Tree.
These years taught me the importance of genuine hospitality, safety, and personalized service - values that shape every tour I organize today.
In 2014, after meeting countless travelers from around the world, I decided to become a private driver and tour organizer in Sri Lanka. I wanted to offer visitors a more personal, flexible, and authentic way to explore the island.
Thanks to the success of my tours, I was able to build two guest rooms at my home and create a small Sri Lankan homestay experience - a dream come true. Hosting guests allows me to share real Sri Lankan culture, food, and everyday life.
My wife supports me with tour planning and organization, while I focus on taking care of our guests on the road. You will be accompanied by me or one of my trusted, highly experienced drivers, professionals I have known for many years.
